Angela Pearson: Counsellor
I am a Pluralistic Counsellor working with children, young people, and adults in a holistic way to help you navigate and process experiences that may be leading to challenges in your life. I will provide a safe, confidential, judgement-free space where you can be yourself while exploring your thoughts and feelings. Counselling will take place at your pace so that you feel comfortable and able to share openly in your own way. As a Pluralistic Counsellor, I can use a variety of approaches to support you in counselling, including using creative approaches involving drawing, sand, Russian dolls, etc., to help you explore. What matters most is that we work together so you feel seen and heard and get the most from our time together.
Nicola Park: Connect & Grow Support Assistant
Armed with glitter, googly eyes, and an endless supply of ideas, I bring colour, creativity, and a touch of organised chaos to the Children’s Support Room. Whether we’re building rocket ships from cardboard boxes or calming big feelings with sensory play, I’m here to make every session fun, inclusive, and full of magic.
Anne Pilkington: Connect & Grow Support Assistant
Whatever the day brings, messy play, sensory fun, outdoor chaos, or quiet crafts, I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and dive right in. I’m the kind of playworker who’s always where the action is, supporting the team and joining in the fun with a smile (and usually a bit of paint on my jumper).
I love being part of a space where children can be themselves, parents feel supported, and no two days are ever the same, just how I like it!
Ashley Dowell: Connect & Grow Support Assistant
Ashley is a kind, gentle presence in the Rainbow Rogues playroom, creating a calm, welcoming environment where every child feels safe to explore and be themselves. Her caring nature shines through in the way she supports children and connects with families. Ashley takes pride in helping little ones grow in confidence through play, laughter, and kindness. The team often describes her as a quiet soul with a big heart, someone who brings calm to even the busiest of days.
Natalie Bush: Connect & Grow Support Assistant
I’m a mum with a background in teaching and a strong passion for learning and personal development. I enjoy reading, exploring history, and spending time outdoors, particularly camping and connecting with nature. I also love Lego and the creativity and attention to detail it brings. I’m friendly, approachable, and always keen to learn something new and take on new experiences.
Muriel Graham: Connect & Grow Volunteer
With a tune always on my lips and a heart full of kindness, I bring music, warmth, and gentle joy to every session. Whether it’s a singalong during tidy-up time or a quiet moment with a child who needs extra reassurance, I’m there with open arms and a smile.
I’m all about building real, meaningful connections with the children, the kind that don’t need many words, just presence, patience, and sometimes a well-timed nursery rhyme.
Kerry Murison: Connect & Grow Support Assistant
Whether it’s joining in with messy crafts, supporting free play, or helping little ones feel safe and seen, I’m always ready to get stuck in. I bring warmth, energy, and a can-do attitude to every session, making sure children feel celebrated and families feel welcome.
No two days at Rainbow Rogues are the same, and that’s precisely what I love; it keeps things fun, fresh, and full of heart.
Leah Curry: Family Support Practitioner
Whether it’s a listening ear, a helpful nudge, or a full-blown rescue mission involving EHCP jargon or meltdown logistics in the supermarket, I’m here to support families through the ups, downs, and sideways moments of life. From first introductions to long chats over coffee, I work with parents and carers to make sure they feel heard, empowered, and never alone on their journey.
I’m part cheerleader, part paperwork translator, and full-time champion for the amazing families we support, always ready with reassurance, resources, or just the right moment to say, “You’re doing better than you think.
Tasha Shaw: Media & Fundraising Volunteer
Tasha is our social media volunteer and a proud Rainbow Rogues parent, bringing both lived experience and genuine passion to the role. With a strong drive to help create positive change for children and families, she is always full of ideas, creativity, and enthusiasm for helping Rainbow Rogues grow within the community.
Whether it’s brainstorming new campaigns, supporting awareness projects, or sending Keri another voice note with “just one more idea” , Tasha plays an important part in sharing the heart behind what Rainbow Rogues does.
Her passion for advocacy, community connection, and making families feel seen and supported shines through in everything she does.
Mel Carr: Counsellor
I’m Mel. I’m a pluralistic counsellor working with teenagers, young people and adults, offering a relaxed space where you can be yourself and feel heard, without judgement.
My approach is collaborative and shaped around you. We’ll find what works for you and go at your pace. I won’t pretend to have all the answers, but we can figure things out together.
I’ve spent time living abroad, supporting people in refugee centres and orphanages, which has shaped how I see people and the importance of feeling understood.
I work from my office in Aberdeen, and I have a strong commitment to tea, so I’m rarely without a cuppa in my hand.
Emma Murray: Counsellor
Emma joined the Rainbow Rogues team in September 2026 whilst studying for her Diploma in Pluralistic Counselling and Psychotherapy through Grounded Learning. She previously volunteered as a Mentor for MCR Pathways for two years and currently works in marketing and communications, with eight years' experience in this field.
She is naturally empathetic and caring, and is motivated by supporting people and making a positive difference in their lives.
In her spare time, she loves going on adventures and spending time outdoors cycling, running and climbing Munros.
Alison MacDougall: Counsellor
I am a volunteer pluralistic counsellor and psychotherapist, supporting both adults and children. I offer a safe, confidential, and welcoming space where people can explore personal challenges at their own pace. Because I work pluralistically, I’m able to draw on a range of therapeutic approaches from different modalities, tailoring the work to suit each individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
