2BAMPOD Texas Scramble at Turriff Golf Club – 23rd May

On Friday, we hosted a highly successful Texas Scramble golf fundraiser at Turriff Golf Club, generously sponsored by Barratt Homes. With 41 teams of four booked in from 07:40 to 14:30, the event attracted strong community support and delivered a brilliant day of golf, camaraderie, and charitable giving.

Event Highlights

Warm Welcome: Each player was welcomed with a bacon roll and hot drink before teeing off on the club’s stunning 18-hole course.

Player Perks: Golfers received goodie bags, water, and a chocolate bar, with an additional treat — a complimentary bottle of beer served at the 10th hole.

Competitions: Enthusiasm was high for the Longest Drive and Nearest the Pin challenges, with a top-of-the-range driver and putter up for grabs.

Post-Round Hospitality: Players enjoyed a two-course meal provided by Fairways Food and Drink, followed by a prize giving ceremony and a celebratory disco to close the event in style.
